Plot
Kenya, a bold five-year old girl, is reluctantly dragged to a symphony by her mother. Through the power of the orchestra, the young girl's passion for music blossoms before her own eyes.
Carlos Douglas Jr
Carlos Douglas Jr is an animator & director/producer of Kenya’s Symphony. He is a spring 2020 graduate of Columbia College Chicago under the Interactive Arts and Media program, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Traditional Animation.
ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival
ANIMAFILM was founded in 2018 and it is the first and only international animation festival in Azerbaijan. Every year in October the festival presents a rich multidisciplinary program and shows dozens of foreign and local animated films for children and adults for five days. The goal of the organisers is to delight the local and foreign audience and professionals, as well as promoting and developing art of animation in Azerbaijan.
Animated film Kenya's Symphony participated in the official competition of III ANIMAFILM Festival and was nominated to the category Best Short Animated Film for Children.
