Bahram Khalilov



Graduated and acquires diplomas from the national as well as western art educational institutions. Lived, worked and exhibited in the US from the years of 1992 to 1998. Since 2012 he is Art Director of the İNCƏSƏNƏT Art Magazine, since 2007 Creative Director of the Center of Contemporary Art (MiM) Baku, Azerbaijan and since 2006 Chairman of the United Artists Club (BRK). Exhibited in many national and international shows in Azerbaijan, USA, Russia, Italy, Germany, France, Iran, Turkey, Mongolia, Korea, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Bulgaria, personal exhibits in Baku, Azerbaijan and New York, US. In 2007 participated in the 52nd Venice Biennale at the first Azerbaijan Pavilion at Judeca / Labyrinth Group's Land Art Presentation. In the framework of 55th Esposizione Internazionale d'Arte la Biennale di Venezia | PALAZZO BEMBO (2013) as a part of D. Goldenberg's the “Participating Cultures” international project / the Part 24/7 / Yellow Pages of Thoughts (YPOT) he participated with interactive installation. Works owned by private collections and individual collectors internationally, as well as the Azerbaijan State Art Museum n/a Mustafayev and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Baku, Azerbaijan and the State Centre of Contemporary Art in Moscow, Russia and other international institutions.
