‘‘I grew up in North Caucasus, in a city, which held a «hot spot» status through my whole childhood. Several years ago I came back to my historical homeland, Georgia, and fully devoted myself to painting. The contrast of mentalities, religions and social structures I lived in, made a big influence on me as a painter. My art can be perceived as one «addressing actual problems», but in the same time, it is important for me to capture the timeless contradictions of human nature, as a fragile, helpless, but disastrous being in the same time’’.
